The Primary Tour Itinerary Includes:

Day 1

Arrive Grand Hotel de la Ville, Sorrento

6:00 pm Welcome meeting at the pool bar

7:00 pm Dinner at Il Buco Ristorante

Day 2

9:30 am Depart for private guided tour of Pompeii followed by lunch and wine tasting at Bosco di Medici (1:00 pm)

3:30 pm Return to Hotel Della Ville.

Dinner is on your own this evening

Day 3

Free day Sorrento options: boat ride down the coast or to Capri, shopping, relax by the pool, lemon garden tour with limoncello tasting, pizza making class, etc (some require advance reservations, let me know if you’re interested in any of these)

5:00 pm Depart for private cooking class with Cristiano at his grandparents’ villa overlooking the bay of Naples

Day 4

9:30 am Meet our driver and depart for Matera, UNESCO heritage site and 2019 “European Capital of Culture”

1:00 pm Arrive Matera, drop bags at La Suite Matera Hotel

1:30 pm Light lunch at Café Italiano Matera

2:30 pm Private guided walking tour of Matera with local guide, Vito

This evening you are free for dinner and to wander this amazing city at night!

Day 5

Free day to explore Matera options: hike across the gorge to Murgia park, explore Matera, wine tour, cooking class (reservations required)

7:15 pm Walk to dinner together at Soul Kitchen

Day 6

10:00 am Depart for Monopoli with a stop in the UNESCO village of Alberobello, known for its ancient dry stack stone conical roofed dwellings

11:30 am Guided walking tour of Alberobello with local guide, Guido

1:30 pm Time for lunch and more exploring before departing for Melograno

3:00 pm Check into Masseria Melograno. pool time or spa services before dinner (book in advance)

7:00 pm Welcome reception and dinner at Masseria Melograno

Day 7

9:00 am Depart for Bari and a guided walking tour of the town followed by free time for shopping, lunch, exploring

2:00 pm We will depart Bari. The afternoon will be free, options to tour the towns of Monopoli or Polignano alMare, lounge by the pool, spa services, etc

6:30 pm We will regroup for a cooking class at our Masseria followed by the dinner we prepared!

Day 8

9:00 am Depart for olive oil farm tour and tasting at Azienda Agricola Savoia

12:00 pm Wine tasting and lunch at fifth generation, Tenuta Santoro in the heart of the Valle D’Itria

2:30 pm Return to Masseria Melograno

7:00 pm Final aperitivo and dinner at Ristorante Sale Blu on the beach

Day 9

Tour ends after breakfast Independent departures to Bari train station or airport. Grazie e Arrivederci!
